Products
Does it really work without cleaning product?
Yes, on 95 per cent of the cleaning work in an average home. The microfibres grip dirt mechanically instead of dissolving it, so for dust, grease, water and most stains water alone is enough. For extremely dirty surfaces (oven after a splatter, glue residue) you can use a mild cleaning product, but that's more exception than rule.
Safe on all surfaces?
Microfibre doesn't scratch and leaves no residue. It's safe for glass, marble, wood, stainless steel, leather, car paint, tablet and phone screens. For very soft surfaces (suede, some natural stones that are impregnated) test first on an inconspicuous area.
What's the difference between your cloths?
The Doek Set is for general work: worktop, skirting boards, door handles, screens. The Glasdoek has a diamond-waffle weave specifically for streak-free windows and mirrors. The Kalkdoek has a slightly firmer weave that mechanically loosens limescale buildup on shower, taps and tile grout.
How long does a cloth last?
When washed at 60 degrees without fabric softener: 200+ wash cycles. That's about 4 years with weekly use and washing. No fabric softener because it coats the fibres and removes the cleaning ability.
Delivery
How quickly will I receive my order?
Ordered before 16:00 on working days: delivered tomorrow (NL). For Belgium and Germany 2 to 3 working days.
What are the delivery costs?
From €4.95 with track & trace. Free delivery over €30. To BE and DE slightly higher but still free over €35.
Which carriers do you use?
PostNL for NL, DPD for BE and DE. Both with online tracking and a time slot on the delivery day.
Returns
How does your returns policy work?
30 days money back, even if you've used and washed the cloth. Send it back in an envelope, money back within 5 working days in your account. No questions, no forms.
Do I have to pay return costs?
For the first return of an order we send the return label. For any subsequent return within the same order (if you try again) it's €4.95.
What if the cloth arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days with a photo. We'll send a replacement immediately without you having to return it. We don't throw away damaged products, we recycle them in our test rounds.
Care
How do I wash the cloth?
At 60 degrees in the washing machine with your normal detergent. Without fabric softener. Washable up to 200+ times.
Can the cloth go in the dryer?
Preferably not. Microfibre can melt at high temperatures and then loses absorbency. Hang on a washing line or lay on a rack, dries in a few hours.
The cloth feels less absorbent, what now?
Wash it at 95 degrees without soap. That resets the fibres. Works 9 out of 10 times.
